Long neck, made in Chicago in 1963. With a unique construction using fiberglass, aluminium and wood these instruments produce an incomparable tone. They are also extremely rare with a total of only 140 instruments being made between 1963 and 1967, and a very small handful of those being long-neck 5-string banjos. Highly sought after by collectors and players alike and used by some of the most famous Irish folk artist, including Luke Kelly of the Dubliners. It retains its original hardware, plays beautifully and comes in a quality hard shell case. £1200.
