Super Paramount Artist Professional
What an absolute stunner. From the series affectionately known as "wedding cake" banjos due to the profile of the double resonators. High grade walnut throughout with multi coloured wooden inlays and underlays. The resonator in particular is a true testiment to the workmanship of the Paramount factory during the 1930's. Rosewood fingerboard, pearl inlays, the neck is attached via lag bolts, as all of this series were. All original hardware with brass housed tuners, blue enamel sidewall on first resonator, huge archtop tone ring, unique to "Super Paramounts", external action adjuster. In the past the neck had suffered from warpage. This has now been rectified and a hidden truss rod has been installed, ensuring trouble free playing for many years to come. Overall a superb and incredibly rare banjo with that unique "Super Paramount" tone. HSC £2600 Photos
