Aristone Tenor Guitar by Abbott

Made by Jack Abbott Jnr and distributed by Besson in London. Carved spruce F hole arch top body, mahogany back and sides with multi coloured purflings and bindings, rosewood fingerboard, pearl inlays. replaced pick guard, original tuners and tailpiece. Aylward Guitar
Full bodied hand carved Archtop Accoustic guitar made by Master Luthier Robert Aylward in 1995.The neck back and sides are Maple with a Spruce top. The inlays are split block mother of pearl and the binding comprises layers of wood (not the usual plastic). It is a wonderful instrument to both look at and play. It is based on the Gibson L5/L7 series. The lower bout is 17 inches and the colour is tobacco sumburst. Excellent condition £1750  Photos

Fender Stratocaster 1979
Made in the USA. Serial number S916841. Owned by a professional guitarist for the last 22 years. The original black finish has faded to a very dark green as is common with these instruments. This guitar has never been restored or refurbished and as can be seen in the photo's has considerable playing wear. However, having been owned by a professional, it is in perfect playing condition with all knobs, switches, tuners and electrics working as they should. The tremelo arm works but does need slight attention. Offers please. Photos

Gibson Les Paul Jnr
1962 Serial Number 122539. Gibson rock machine, cherry finish, feather weight SG style mahogany body and (wide thin) neck, rosewood fretboard, dot inlays, 22 frets, original (broken) pickup, replaced bridge, crack by input (see photo), original 3-on-a-plate tuners, 1-11/16" nut, 24-3/4" scale. As can be seen by the photo's, this guitar has been used and somewhat uncared for. On the plus side it has been owned by a professional guitarist for the last twenty five years and everything works as it should. No case. Offers please. Photos

What a little cracker. Mahogany sides and back, spruce top. Rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers, engraved tuner, adjustable truss rod. The top has a hairline seperation below the bridge where the two halves meet.This could probably be made to look invisible with a refinish? A highly versatile guitar suitable for most tunings. Gibson TG-0 Tenor Guitar
Serial number 477. 1930's. Export model with with export label inside and "Made In The USA" on the back of the peghead. Modern Schaller banjo tuners. A well used instrument with a crack to the side and back, but 100% servicable. Plays well but will need a fret dress in the near future. Offers. Photos

Knight Plectrum Guitar
One for the budding Eddie Condon's. Made by master luthier Dick Knight. Arch top, with a sunburst finish. Ebony fingerboard, pearl inlays, Schaller tuners, Fitted pick-up with seperate tone and volume controls. There is a small crack on the back which was repaired by Dick and has remained rock solid ever since. Original Calton flight case. Offers please. Photos
